Since 2019, Dr. Reza Sadeghian has been leading the charge as our Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO), steering organizations towards new horizons of healthcare excellence.

With a career spanning over 20 years, Dr. Sadeghian has been a pivotal figure in strategic IT planning, laying the groundwork for our organization's success. His influential role as an Executive Committee Member of the American Academy of Pediatrics Council on Clinical Information Technology (COCiT) from 2018 to 2021 has helped shape industry standards and drive advancements in clinical informatics.

A dedicated educator, Dr. Sadeghian has been sharing his knowledge as an Attending Physician since 2017, mentoring residents and medical students on general pediatrics and informatics topics. His ongoing involvement in the HIMSS Physician Committee since 2023 provides crucial leadership to health informatics initiatives.

Dr. Sadeghian stands out as the first and only physician in North America with fellowship training in both clinical and biomedical informatics, a distinction that amplifies his expertise and leadership capabilities.

His academic journey includes a Master of Science (MSc) in Clinical Informatics from the University of Washington, an MSc from the University of Pittsburgh, and an MBA from Auburn University's Physician Executive MBA Program. He completed his medical training at St. George’s University and his Pediatrics residency at the University of South Alabama.
